For 25 years, Jamie has cultivated a passion for hair artistry, with 15 of those years spent mastering their craft in the dynamic salon scene of New York City. This intensive period served as a masterclass, where she specialized in advanced color formulations, mastering the nuanced science behind complex hues and achieving transformative color correction. Expertise in keratin treatments was cultivated, alongside a refined understanding of precision haircuts and contemporary styling techniques.

Returning to her hometown, Kennett Square, she established Hairology KSQ, a salon built on meaningful client connections. I am beyond thrilled that I found Jamie at Hairology KSQ! From the moment I booked my first appointment, Jamie impressed me with her incredible communication — she texted me right away and stayed in touch, even guiding me when I got a little lost trying to find the salon.

Jamie is one of the most talented hairstylists I’ve ever met. She truly has a gift for hair — she listened carefully to what I wanted, gave thoughtful suggestions, and her technique and attention to detail are unbelievable. She transformed my hair into something I didn’t think was possible — it’s smooth, shiny, healthy, and has never looked this good in years.

She asked for a couple of pictures of what I wanted and listened really carefully. And then she had the expertise to cut my hair in that way plus she asked for my input along the way. I will be getting my hair cut with her again!

Jamie did an amazing job.  My hair is demage and she explained what products would be best.. Took her time to fix my hair and made  more manageable keep up. I was exceptionally pleased with the fine communications during the power outage in town and rescheduling was easy and convenient.  Once we were able to meet, the hair coloring worked out very much to my satisfaction along with the changed hair style that Jamie executed.  The coloring (my beard) made me look at least 10 years younger and more attractive to boot.  I will be back again in the near future.

I have lived in the area for the better part of 12yrs. I used to see my barber Joshua, out in Ridley Park, but he closed down during the pandemic. He “was” “my go to” for a decade. I have been looking desperately for some who I could trust with my hair to the point I could fall asleep in the chair and KNOW...that when I opened my eyes I would look in the mirror, and at the very least....not have a complaint. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Well, I took a chance, as I walked up Union Street....on this nice, brand new salon, quiet...and although it was kind of early in the morning, this nice, young girl with a great smile opened her door and asked if I was looking for a haircut. Not only did she make it so comfortable & relaxing, but after closing my eyes...I woke up, had not only 0 complaints....but for the first time in years, I had nothing but compliments across the board.

Found this new salon in the center of Kennett Square.  I want to say how happy I was to walk into this place.  I usually go to a barber shop but was in a hurry to get to a David Guetta concert in New York, as I was running late, and rolled the dice on this place.  JACKPOT!!!  Jamie took the time to color (3 colors) and cut my hair even though she had to stay open for an extra hour.  The outcome was amazing!  I looked and felt like a club kid again even though I am 53 young.  Thanks for making my Birthday at David Guetta (Mirage in Brooklyn,  NY,  2024) an epic day!!!!  I will definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to feel young again.   Don't pass this place by.  My barbershop days are over.   I will be back soon!!!

I am new to the area and needed a last minute hair cut before an upcoming trip. Jamie was able to fit me in and was fantastic at, not just cutting and styling my hair, but communicating with me through the whole process. I left feeling confident not only in my haircut but in my choice of hairstylist. It is clear from my time in her chair that she really cares about hearing, and working with her clients so that they leave the salon happy and confident with how they look.

Jamie not only fixed my 12y/o's hair, she fixed mine as well! Jamie checked in often with me while cutting my son's hair and mine, which was very reassuring. I highly suggest you see Jamie - she is awesome! <3

I took my boys (7 and 9 yo) to Jamie for their long over due haircuts.  My boys have very differnt hair types and they wanted very different things. Jamie is very patient and meticulously give bpth of them what they wanted. Very happy customers.

Jaimie is meticulous and skilled. I received a keratin treatment to tame my frizz and a haircut. The end result was fantastic and has received many compliments. I have very frizzy hair, but even after a few washes, my hair looks healthy and frizz-free.

Delilah has been doing my daughter’s hair and she always loves her knotless box braids, we just took my son to get his hair braided and he loved it. Her schedule is pretty accommodating to my crazy schedule with the kids and the new salon is so convenient for us

Jamie did a highlight color-foil combination on my hair. You can tell that she's experienced by just how easily she moved one one process to the next,  while at the same time talking with me in a most interested and engaging way. I was looking for a new stylist in Kennett Square, Pa. I googled and found Hairology ksq.....Jamie had amazing reviews and sounded just like what I was looking for
Her salon is small and she was able to give  me amazing attention. She has a wonderful sense of what you should look like when you leave her salon- she gave me a perfect haircut ! And suggestions on the best shampoo to use for my hair type and tips on everything that I needed to look my best.
I went back the next week for color/gloss I am looking like a million bucks!!! So happy with my haircut and color!  Totally recommend Jamie!!!!
